Oskar Mulej is a research associate at the Institute for Modern and Contemporary Historical Research of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, where he is working on the ERC project ‘Non-territorial Autonomy as a Form of Minority Protection in Europe. In 2018 he defended his doctoral dissertation at CEU, which focused on liberalism in the interwar Slovene, Austrian and Czech party politics. His research interests include, but are not limited to, political and intellectual history of late 19th and early 20th century Central Europe.
